Item Upgrade Tips From The Top In The Industry
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its stats base and often enhances its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.
For instance, the premium shield of racial violence Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you reroll a purchased item, like armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced with an identical item and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't keep the quality of the original item and any resources wasted will not be refunded.
The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in chests and crates or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of an item for example, increasing its damage.
Players can reroll their equipment into three categories that include physical power, magical power and health. Physical power increases the damage done by melee and weapons while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality and requires a higher-quality reroll token order to make it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker for rerolling, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action areas, remains on the space till the next success is rerolled. This helps you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they will display a description and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.
During the course of a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to selected Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls, and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed that shows the Best item upgrader's current status and what it will be when being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. When the requirements are satisfied, the user can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the item upgrader's durability. This is a great way for players who wish to get an edge in combat, but don't want to burden their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new piece of gear.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for new players. There are a variety of methods to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally, players can cut down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows players to increase the stats of their weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It is achieved by combining an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade materials and grant the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been reached.
Items with upgraded base stats will display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be added to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component also requires a certain number of items as well as a certain level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, a preview shows what the gear will look like at its next level. Once a player has enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item upgrader kit is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its highest level, upgrades are no longer available for it. Likewise, once an item is on an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for that track will have a discount.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional benefit or bonus when the equipment is being used. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by acquiring new ones. However, this could cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain attributes of weapons and armor they currently own. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on its type however, you'll usually require Dilithium and a number Upgrade tokens.
The upgrade items can be used to make set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade element is inserted into an item, it can't be removed and substituted without restriction, however the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped out without limitation.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can boost the item's stats.
The upgrade item to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for example, increases base defense and gives an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally the dps enhancement "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but they are not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players when they get an exact roll. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
The game will display the requirements once you choose the upgrade Item component that goes into the item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will add an item in your inventory once you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how far you are towards getting the upgrade completed. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
