Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied.

The racial Shield elite Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired like armor, weapon or rings. This allows you to swap the item for another of the same type and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the level of the original item and any resources that are wasted aren't refunded.

Survivors can obtain tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests or bought from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of the equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can roll their equipment using three attributes three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attack and spell power boost mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player additional health.

There are three kinds of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a better quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens placed on action spaces, remains on the space until the next Success is to be rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they will display a description and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's store will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This affects the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones which increase the level of an item upgrader Kit by improving its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. These stones can also be obtained by players who complete daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's level, and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.

After deciding what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the requirements are met, the player can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade items process also is risk-free, and does not impact the durability of the item. This makes the system an ideal way for players to get a significant advantage in combat without putting stress on their bank account. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.

New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are many ways to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an optional feature that lets players boost the stats of their weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. It is achieved by combining an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item a boost in that particular area. The process will continue until the item is at its highest level.

Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component requires a certain number of items as well as a certain level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item upgrader mod that they wish to upgrade. On the right, previews show what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once the player has enough materials will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.

Once an Best item upgrader has reached its maximum level, its upgrades are no longer available to it. Once a piece of equipment reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to the track will be offered at a discount.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus when the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this could cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.

Requirements

Upgrades to items enable players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on the item type however, generally you'll require Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

Upgrades to items can be slotted into equipment set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be gotten from a variety of sources within the game, such as crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it is not able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.

Upgrades can increase an item's Mark Level or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components include additional modifiers which can further enhance the stats of the item.

The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases defense base and adds an additional 20 percent chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage from weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get an exact roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

The game will place an item in your inventory once you have fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how far you are to getting the upgrade completed. You can also track the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
