Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that is multi-purpose. It can be converted from a single stroller to double strollers by adding a second seat (sold separately) or glider board. The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection can be configured to a triple travel system by adding a bench or infant car seat. It has 24 different configurations and is a top stroller overall. The model is made of Baby Jogger's breathable, soft TENCEL fabrics that help with thermal regulation and are sustainably sourced. It includes a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar and belly bar. It is 20% smaller and lighter than the leading single-to-double stroller, the UPPAbaby V2.
It features a medium-sized shade and a magnetic peek-aboo window, that is simple to open and close. The telescoping bar is of the most easily adjustable and is suitable for parents of any height. The seats recline and come with an adjustment button for the footwell to allow you to position your child for maximum comfort. The storage bin is spacious with plenty of space, however we would have preferred to have a more secure latch. It's easy to reach, but we found the zippers to be somewhat frustrating as they need to be completely removed and refastened every time you use it.
Like its siblings, the City Select has single-action brakes which are easy to set and release by the pulling of a lever located on the side of the frame, lower than the handlebar. It is sandal- and barefoot friendly and is a significant improvement over the awkward levers for brakes that other competitors use.
This is the only stroller that we have tested that can take two infant seats. It's a great choice for parents with twins or an infant on the way. It can be used with all major brands infant car seats using an adapter. We tested it using the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models Cybex Aton and Aton Q, and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is an excellent option for families that already own a car seat, but need a stroller that can accommodate it. However, you might be better served with another convertible stroller in this instance.
