Path of Exile item upgrader mod Upgrades

Item upgrades are a common and important way to improve the performance of numerous items in Path of Exile. They can be a great source of damage, more AD or even more affixes.

Rare-grade equipment is often superior to modernized Common or Magic equipment due to their higher requirements.

Armor

Armor upgrades can be applied to both weapon and armor items. They boost the performance of the item they are connected to. Upgrades to armor can be found in the world of games and purchased from Blacksmiths on bonfires. They can also be salvaged using a specialist or higher salvage kit to retrieve upgrades from the items.

The level of an armor's or weapon's upgrade determines the amount of damage it is able to absorb. The upgrade of an armor piece to the highest upgrade level will increase its ability to absorb damage. However, it's important to keep in mind that this will increase its weight, causing it to weigh more than before.

There are many different kinds of armor upgrades that are available in the game. Each one has a distinct effect. Some upgrades give armor an additional number of health points, while others make it stronger and lighter. The type of armor upgrade that an item upgrade - her response - will receive will be identified by the name of the upgrade as shown in the table below.

Some of the upgrades are also magic or a hybrid of technology and magic, which is indicated by an "Magic" or "Hybrid" entry in the table below. Additionally, some upgrades require a charge to use, which is shown by an "Charges" entry in the table below. The charges associated with these upgrades refresh every day or never expire, depending on the upgrade.

Iron Ore is the cheapest way to upgrade your armor. It can be found by exploring and looting small treasure chests. Titanium is more costly, but is readily available at the smelters in Orgrimmar and Stormwind City. Certain upgrades, such as the Reforge or the Hot Potato Books can only be applied to high-level armor pieces. These upgrades can give significant boost to stats and are worth the investment, particularly for one-handed weapons.

The process of upgrading an armor piece to its maximum upgrade level will greatly boost its defense, but the player should be aware that putting more weight on it will dramatically reduce its agility and speed. It is not recommended to upgrade armor past +9. The added defense typically isn't worth the weight and power costs of the upgrades.

Weapons

Weapon upgrades allow players the ability to improve certain aspects of their weapon. Upgrades can boost the accuracy of a rifle or the damage that shotgun shells cause. Certain firearms have upgrades that enhance their inherent qualities. They include Frictionless Materials (improves stability and reduces the risk of weapon overheating) and Kinetic Coils (increases the speed of projectiles to cause more damage).

The majority of upgrades to weapons require a whetblade. It's one of three Power Dices and a different amount Minerals and Erons. These are obtained through either finishing side quests, taking out a certain number of monsters or bosses, or by contacting the Weapon Upgrade NPC located in Central Flarine.

Upgrading a Weapon, Equipment Set piece, or Whetblade requires visiting the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine and paying her an upgrade cost that is based on a specific number of Bars. The more bars needed to complete an upgrade the more expensive the upgrade. If you have multiple upgrade materials The cost of upgrading will be less.

In Chapter 2: Season 5, the way you upgrade your weapon and equipment sets changed a little. In the past you could search for an Upgrade Bench and pay a set amount of Bars to upgrade your weapon or equipment to an increased quality. You could do this until your weapon or equipment reached its maximum upgrade level at which point the upgrades would be reset.

It's possible, but it depends heavily on RNG. Instead, you're better off going to stores and buying equipment with low upgrade levels, but good base scores and stat distributions. These items will have a greater likelihood of granting you most prestigious tier of benefits and blessings.

The majority of players will prioritize weapon upgrades for the weapons they are most likely to use to help them level up faster. In addition to these, players should consider upgrading the weapons that are most popular with their teammates to increase their power and effective. For instance, Shepard should consider upgrading the M92F to unlock the Beretta M93R, which will enhance its effectiveness when paired with biotic specialists like Grunt and Tali.

Jewels

Jewels can be used to increase the effectiveness of a skill or provide additional effects in armor and weapons. They can be created using a process called jewelry crafting, where you combine a gem and several reagents at a jewelry table. The higher the tier of the gem has, the more powerful its secondary effect. These reagents can be gotten from Treasure Goblins and World Bosses in the world, or by finding Legendary Gear. You can also purchase them from The Jeweler in exchange for Scattered Prisms and gold.

The Jeweler can enhance the quality of gemstones in stages ranging from Crude up to Royal. Depending on the tier of the jewel it will give different stat boosts when inserted into weapons, equipment and jewelry.

All tiers of jewels can be crafted at the Jeweler and Jeweler's Workshop, with the exception of the rare and legendary gems that require you to be at a high enough level to obtain them. Jewels can be replaced with another jewel without damaging the original. You can only replace the gem once within an item of equipment.

Utilizing more jewels in the movement will make it more smooth and is typically performed for aesthetic reasons. The jewels also improve performance and make an outer layer that is more durable than metal so that repeated friction from pivots do not cause damage to the movement.

A Glyphmaster can provide glyphs that can enhance the appearance of your weapons and shields. These provide a small bonus and can be swapped out at any time but aren't guaranteed to drop as loot. Glyphs are like jewelry and can be upgraded by the Jeweler to exchange Scattered Crystals and gold. Glyphs may also be removed and returned to the inventory. Other upgrade components like aegis or traits cannot be swapped, and can only be recovered with an Upgrade extractor or salvaging with Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage.

Trinkets

Trinkets can provide your hero with various small, but useful, advantages. They are available in the start-up area as rewards for personal stories or loot. They are also available through vendors and after the completion of road interactions. They can be purchased from the Trading Post, or crafted by jewelers.

The first trinket players will unlock is the cloak. It grants a small, but useful bonus in speed of movement and the ability to escape. After that, they can purchase amulets, rings and necklaces in the same way to how a player can acquire weapons and armor. Each piece of equipment has one upgrade slot that accepts either a universal or jewel upgrade. Universal upgrades provide smaller bonuses and can be used in any type of equipment, however, jewelry cannot be replaced or upgraded, and only works with certain types of trinkets.

These trinkets can provide additional bonuses and abilities that are active even when the hero isn't in combat. This allows a hero to be more efficient while inactive. It also helps compensate for the lack of a good slots in the team or talent tree that are normally filled by a hero's top stats.

In general trinket upgrades should be a priority BiS (Best item upgrader in Slot) items that you will not replace in the near future. Next, any items that have desirable statistics aren't as significant as the iLevel for the item that is to be upgraded. This is particularly true if an item has multiple stats that you'd like to upgrade, as it's often better to upgrade a single crucial stat than two subpar ones.

Jungle players often upgrade their yellow trinkets to a red one at the beginning of the game. Mid and top players however will pick a green or a pink ward, depending on the game's matchup. These choices will have an impact on the ability of a hero to control the map.

Apart from the items listed above, players may also find other trinkets throughout the game in the form of trophies and awards. They can be earned through completing certain milestones in the story, for instance finishing a chapter's main quest or killing a certain boss. These achievements can be seen by selecting the relevant achievement in the reward tab of the hero menu.
